Greek mythology is the body of myths which concerns with the origin and the nature of the activities of deities, heroes, and mythological creatures. These mythological stories have great influence on the arts and literature of the Western civilization. Many Greek babies are named after these Greek deities, heroes, Gods, and other mythological figures.
Mythological Hebrew baby names are mostly taken from the Hebrew Bible, also known as Tanakh or Old Testament. Most of these names are taken from the Hebrew phrases and expressions. Many Hebrew names are also adopted by Muslim community for their babies especially if they are also mentioned in the Qur'an.
