Game of Thrones Stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie Expecting Second Baby

Love is in the air as Kit Harington and his beloved wife, Rose Leslie, just announced that they are expecting their second child! The exciting news came directly from the Game of Thrones actor himself, during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday night.

The couple, who have been together since their time playing opposite each other on the HBO hit series, and married in June 2018. Kit co-starred as Jon Snow on the show while Rose portrayed his love interest, Ygritte. Since then, their lives have only gotten more exciting —and now even more so with their second child on its way!

On the show, Kit excitedly revealed to Jimmy Fallon that he and Rose are expecting their second little one. “He’s about to get the shock of his life which is that he's about to get a brother or sister," he said. Although their first baby was born just two years ago in February 2021, it appears both parents couldn't be happier with the new addition to their growing family.

Not only did Kit talk about his family's upcoming blessing on air, but he also dished out some amusing anecdotes about what it's like having two kids versus one. “With the first baby you’re like walking on clouds and dancing through fields of daisies for nine months—well at least for men—this time around you get practical real quickly," joked Kit.

The two stars first met while working together in 2011; however, it wasn't until 2013 when sparks began to fly between them. After six years of dating they finally tied the knot at a castle in Aberdeenshire surrounded by loved ones including some of their closest friends from Game of Thrones. It was a beautiful celebration steeped with sentimental moments shared between them during such an incredibly special day.

Almost 3 years after getting married they welcomed a son whom they have yet to reveal his name publicly. Despite this fact, during Friday's interview with Fallon there was no deficiency in fatherly pride when it came to talking about his impressing 2-year-old son; describing him as "quite smart".

As far as his personal career goes—besides acting—Kit has talked extensively since Game of Thrones ended about how much he has enjoyed taking time away from entertainment shows thus allowing him to spend quality time with his family without disturbances from frenzied fans or tabloid reporters alike hounding for pictures every chance they get. During the interview Fallon asked if there were any sequel projects happening regarding Jon Snow in which Kit unsurprisingly answered saying "I can’t say anything on that." Though he later playfully said that if recognition fades away then perhaps donning his fur character might be something revisited once again!

In closing it looks like these two happily married people will soon welcome another very special member into their already loving home full of laughter and smiles—as evidenced by Kit's glowing face throughout Friday's fun chat! This newest addition will be sure to bring even more joy into an already joyfully chaotic household full of love--just what this couple deserves after all these years spent together working hard day and night towards success while still having enough energy left over for each other ...and now another bundle of joy coming soon!
