Many translations of the surname Colabella are incorrect. The name Colabella has a Roman - Latin origin. Cola in Latin is cultivator or worshiper, bella is translated as war [not the Italian translation beautifull. Colabella translates to worshiper of war, or simply in English warrior. As an aside we get the English word bellicose from the Latin bella.
