Comments :

I made up the name when i was 12 living in hammaton nj. There was a girl in my School named Elise. I started to think that name sounds nice but i wanted to change it. I went through the alphabet changing the first letter and when i came to "j" it sounded perfect, and naturally if i had a daughter i would like her to have a "j" like myself. My first child was a girl. But a family friend loved the name so much he a started telling other people to name their daughter's Jalice also even while i was still pregnant. I pronounced it, Jalice rhymes with police. It sounded like a Spanish name. I wanted my daughter's name to sound Spanish. I'm surprised how many people have this name now. I also feel very proud. - Jeannette
